BARNES, Richard S., 64, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Sunday, July 25, 2010.

Richard was born August 22, 1945 to Chester Thomas Barnes and Doris Eaves Barnes.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Barnes; sisters, Patty DeVries and Susan White; brother, Robert Barnes; and Richard's soul-mate, Bobbie Carter; nieces and nephews, Sherry, Robbie, Patti DeVries, Leslie and Rachel Barnes and Beth and Jerry White; sister-in-law, Karen Barnes, brothers-in-law, Bob DeVries and Jerry White; many other family members and friends.

Richard will be welcomed to heaven by his father Chester, grandparents, Rob and Idella Eaves,; grandparents, C.O. Barnes and Florence Parry; nephew, Douglas R. DeVries; uncle, Harold Barnes; aunt, Rosie Barnes and cousin, Jimmy Barnes.

His favorite place to camp and relax was Snake Island just off of Cockroach Bay. Richard, Bobbie and friends spent many happy times camping and fishing. He will always be loved by those who knew him well and will be greatly missed by all.
