PARKER, Johnnie, 81, of Tampa, Florida, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010.

She was born October 22, 1928 in Grand Ridge, Florida.

Johnnie enjoyed and loved doing gardening, ceramics, socializing on the phone with friends. Our Mom raised all of her children to be strong, respectful and loving individuals, and did so as a single working parent after the death of her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Parker; her parents William and Sallie Edenfield.

Her survivors include her children, Marvin (Valerie) Parmer, Daniel (Mary) Parker, Velda (Joe) Males, Tim (June) Parker and Kenneth Parker; grandchildren, Nikki (James) White, Tricka (James) Gibson, Danielle (Jon) Ricker, Kayla (Cody) Davis, Allison Parker, Branden Doby and Michelle Parker, James Parmer and Matthew Parmer; great-grandchildren, Shayanna, Jasmin, Brianna,Van, Danielle and Christian; and many other family members and friends.
