DI BETTA, Joe, 81, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010.
Joe was retired from the Florida Department of Agriculture, as a state meat inspector. He was born in Ybor City, and was a lifelong resident of Tampa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Suarez Di Betta, and his oldest son, Joe Di Betta II.
Joe missed Alicia horribly for the past 27 months, as they were soulmates since their teenage years in Ybor City, and later finding each other again later in life, being married for 48 years. They lived for each other and their family everyday. They were inseparable here on earth, and are now reunited and dancing in heaven. Joe and Alice were special people who helped anyone who needed anything or asked, be they strangers or friends. They instilled that and so much more to their children and grandchildren, by example and teachings.
He is survived by his sons, Adolfo (Al) Luis-Suarez and Carl David Luis.
As per Joe and Alicia's requests there will be no public services. They requested their ashes be mixed together for eternity.
