Susan J. Michael

Susan J. Michael, of Zephyrhills, formerly of New Orleans, passed away February 21, 2010 at the Moffitt Cancer Center.

She was born in Arlington, Mass. in 1948 to Louise Foley and Cosmo DeBonis.

She is survived by her son John Alexander of York, Maine; her two brothers, Jeff DeBonis of Hood River, Oregon and Jon DeBonis of St. Petersburg; two grandchildren, Caroline and Ben Alexander; and nephew, Cozzi DeBonis.

Susan moved to Zephyrhills after surviving Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, where she had been a realtor and property manager. She was a devoted advocate for animals and worked tirelessly with several animal rescue organizations. Taken from us far too soon, she will be greatly missed by her dear friends and all of her family. Arrangements by Florida Mortuary Services.
