Founded by John Loyless, Florida Mortuary Funeral & Cremation Services opened its doors in 1987. Since the very beginning, we have made it our mission to offer families affordable funeral and cremation services without sacrificing quality.

Unlike the many corporately owned funeral firms in the Tampa area, Florida Mortuary remains privately owned and operated. As a result, we have the abilty to offer each unique family the individual attention they deserve.
Additionally, Florida Mortuary Funeral & Cremation Services is the only funeral home in Tampa with an on-site crematory. This gives us the ability to control and oversee every aspect of the cremation process. As a result, we can ensure families ultimate security and the most dignified cremation services.
