Ive been thinking about you like crazy lately!! I miss you so much. You have no idea how thankful i am that i was able to sleep with you the last night you were on the earth. You meant so much to me. and always will. I remember when my mom would call me saying that you were in the hospital again and i would have tears in my eyes. But now i dont have to worry any longer.
I know you are in a better place. And i will see you again in heaven where there is no suffering, pain, and crying. I hope your having a great time with your wife Doris and all your old friends you use to play bingo with. Ill miss leaving the tampa airport and going straight to Hannah Oaks to see you.

Hi, My name is Carol (Lawless) Elsass. I am the niece of Lenton Stephens, and the first cousin of Chuck Stephens, Pam Walker, Sabrina Pennington, and John Stephens. I used to visit Mr. Hernandez and his Wife on occasion when our family would take trips to Tampa, to visit our Aunts and Uncles and cousins there. I was always intrigued with the Hernandez family as they were very unique and I always got a good lesson in spanish whenever I saw them. They were very nice people, and I know they were loved. My prayers go out to the family during this difficult time.

Some of my fondest childhood memories were those spent in your home. I miss the closeness of families we enjoyed all those many years long ago.

Please know how sad I am for your loss. Even tho we know the day will come when we have to say our good byes, it's still very difficult. One is never really prepared.
