My prayers are with all the family members missing your beloved Mother, special thoughts go to my neighbors Marvin and Valerie. Its hardest on the ones left behind, but reminds us that we are not in charge, and everything has a purpose. You will all be reunited someday and in the meantime you have many happy memories.

Hey Mom - gosh, my only regret is not seeing you or speaking to you one more time. I'm so glad we were able to stay in touch and it still seemed like "home" when you'd comment about my weight each time I saw you - "Well, Kathy, you've gained a little weight haven't chu?" Yep, I could always count on you being my "mirror" for seeing things as they were! I'll miss you but know you are watching over all your kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids. What a legacy you have left with a little bit of "Johnnie B" in all of them! You've earned your rest and now it's our turn to carry the torch until it's our turn to pass it to our kids. Sweet dreams, Mom, and it's ironic that you left me on my own Mom's birthday - 7/11. I know she is still with me as I get a whiff of her perfume or a breeze brushes my cheek, I know it's her. Once you get your wings be sure and visit me sometimes, I'll be watching for you! Love you still, Kathy.

I will miss our frequent talks, jokes and ribbing each other. You had an amazing sense of humor. I can still and always will hear your voice talking to me. I knew I'd been accepted into the family the very first time you called me "Turkey Butt" a term of endearment you so often used. I'll still be talking to you on my ride home each night I work and I know you will be there to listen. I Love You Mama and I'm so glad you came into my life along with your amazing son Marvin. God Bless and Rest in Peace, Val

Our deepest sympathy and warmest thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and friends of Johnnie Parker. One of her daughter-in-laws is my cousin who is married to Marvin. And I can tell one and all what a terrific job she did raising her children. It shows in all they do! May God bless you all.

We love you mama. We will treasure and remember all you have taught us through the years. You were the rock, the foundation the Parmer/Parker household was built upon. Thank you for all the life lessons and all the years of caring for us all. We will miss "Same O' Same O'". Thank you for being our mama, our dad and our friend all rolled up into one very special and unique person. We take comfort in knowing you are in a far better place, The House of God. We love you and miss you mama. Love Marvin and Valerie
